After using my UA W Phantom 4 shoes, which I purchased from Under Armour online, for about 8 months, a tear developed at the toe of the right shoe. I sent the product to their company for inspection, keeping my invoice/receipt as well.
Even before this tear, I had previously requested an inspection for the same product because wear had developed on the reflector section of the shoe. Back then, the result was only communicated to me over the phone, and again, no action was taken, with the issue being attributed to "user error."
In this latest inspection, they sent my shoes back to me, and customer service called me by phone to tell me that the problem was once again "user error," and my request was denied. Being brushed off with just this phrase both times, without any written report, detailed explanation, or technical assessment being shared, left me disappointed.
I don't accept experiencing these issues — first wear on the reflector section, then a tear at the toe — with the same product over what can be considered a short period of use, nor do I accept the inspections being concluded this way. For this product, which I believe is defective, I am requesting either an exchange or a refund. I've been a UA user for years; my 10-year-old pair of shoes still holds up rock solid. I am requesting that you find a solution for me.
