Under Armour Shoes Tear Within Warranty but Claim Denied Twice
About a year ago, I purchased a pair of shoes for everyday use from the Under Armour store at Viaport Mall. Although the product comes with a two-year warranty, tears developed in both the inner lining and upper parts of the shoes on both the right and left sides within a short period of time.
First, I called the Viaport Mall Under Armour store to request my invoice number. However, before I even submitted the shoes for inspection, I received a message stating, “No manufacturing defect was found in the product inspection. You can pick up your shoes from Viaport Mall.” Receiving such a message without even handing over the product made me think that the inspection process is automatic and careless.
Later, I submitted the shoes for inspection at an Under Armour store in Antalya. However, after a few days, I received the same response again, stating that no manufacturing defect was found. Even though I have photos of the product, no real support has been provided after the sale, and it doesn’t feel like a proper inspection was ever conducted.
For a product that is still under warranty and has worn out and torn this quickly, I request either a replacement or a refund. I also expect customer satisfaction to be prioritized and for the inspection process to be carried out transparently.
