Turkcell Superbox 300 Mbps Quota Drains Fast - Extra Packages Forced
For about four months I have been using Turkcell Superbox 300 Mbps in Ankara Etimesgut with a monthly quota of 300 GB. From the first month, the 300 GB quota has been running out in about 10–15 days, even though we cannot use the service efficiently because the internet is constantly disconnecting and very slow. Because of this quota problem, I am forced to buy extra packages all the time. Once I purchased a 50 GB extra package manually, but after that the system started to renew 50 GB extra packages automatically three times a month, even though in the area where I purchased the extra package there was no clear statement that it would be automatically renewed every month. As a result, our last bill came to ₺2,235 and the invoices have always been high due to these extra packages. We primarily use our own mobile internet at home because we cannot benefit from Superbox properly, yet the 300 GB package still runs out very quickly and the system keeps pushing us to extra packages. I have called Turkcell customer service many times and explained that the internet is frequently disconnected, slow and that the quota is being consumed in an abnormal way. However, I was told that there is no other solution, that only the extra packages can be canceled, and when I requested cancellation of the line, I was informed that I would have to pay a termination fee of around ₺7,000. I have never been able to get real efficiency from this internet service since the first day, and I find it unfair that I am forced both into extra packages and into paying such a high termination fee. I request that my Turkcell Superbox subscription be canceled without any termination fee and that the unfairly reflected extra package charges on my invoices be reviewed and refunded if necessary.
