Turkcell Opened a Loan and Device in My Name Without My Consent
In April, I was contacted by the Turkcell finance department and informed that a loan of ₺66,000 had been taken out in my name using my Turkish ID number. Previously, a device had also been issued in my name without my consent. My line is currently being actively used. Despite repeatedly contacting customer service, I was not given any information about how this happened and received no assistance. In addition, I was told that an installment of ₺11,000 had not been paid and that I needed to commit to making the payment. I am experiencing victimization due to these transactions carried out without my knowledge or consent. I request Turkcell to thoroughly investigate the unauthorized loan and device transactions made in my name, to resolve my grievance, and to provide me with a written explanation.
