I am the user of the individual postpaid line with the number 0532 747 92 ** under Turkcell. In the January 2026 and February 2026 billing periods, internet usage charges that do not match my usage habits and that are unusual and inexplicable have appeared on my bill. Based on these charges, additional internet packages were repeatedly applied to my line, and I was forced to effectively purchase these packages to prevent my service from being cut off.
Additionally, I noticed that the 5 GB of internet that was credited to me as a gift and the 1 GB earned from the “Shake to Win” campaign were also consumed very quickly, and I have not been given any satisfactory explanation as to how these unusual usages occurred technically.
For internet usage alone during the stated periods, I made high payments of $16 (for the Esnaf 50 plan), $14 (for a 10 GB extra package), and $3 (for a 1 GB extra package). When I later had to cancel my line, a cancellation fee of approximately $33–$33 was charged. Even after paying the cancellation fee, I later found that my line was kept active without my knowledge on a no-contract plan and my plan price was increased from $16 to $22.
During this process, I believe that clear, understandable, and timely information was not provided to me, and that this is contrary to both the obligation to inform and consumer rights. My inquiry has been taken for review through Turkcell customer service; however, no satisfactory, concrete explanation or solution has been offered to me so far.
I request that Turkcell conduct a detailed, retrospective technical review of my internet usage for the January 2026 and February 2026 periods, reassess the legality and contractual compliance of the extra package charges and the cancellation fee, refund all amounts that I believe were unfairly or excessively charged, and provide me with complete, understandable, and transparent usage details for the relevant periods at no additional cost.
