Turkcell Forced Me to Switch to Postpaid Plan and Now Charges Early Termination Fee

On April 12, 2024, while serving in the military, I visited the Turkcell branch in Karşıyaka, İzmir, to switch from a restricted line to a regular one. However, I was told that I could not switch to a prepaid line and that I could only switch to a postpaid plan, which I reluctantly accepted. Later, I learned from your customer service that there was no such requirement. When I requested to terminate my line without a contract, I was told I would be contacted, but months have passed, and no one has reached out. Now, when I want to cancel my plan, an early termination fee is being applied. I provided Turkcell customer service with the branch name, address, contact information, and the name of the employee responsible for this issue, but no solution has been offered for months. I will escalate my complaint to the Consumer Arbitration Board and CIMER, filing a formal complaint against both the Turkcell branch and the employee. I am certain many other military personnel have faced similar treatment at that branch.
