Turkcell Charged Me An Old Debt On My Line After Two Years

In my Turkcell subscription with the number 0539*****47, I discovered by chance on e-Government that I had a debt of ₺5,030 from August 2023, only two years later. During this period, I was never informed by SMS, call, or mail. After the debt came to light, I contacted both Turkcell customer service and the relevant collections and finance departments, but each stated that the matter was not related to them and could not help. I even had to find and call the law office handling the case on my own. I explained that I wanted to immediately pay the principal amount of the debt, and I pointed out that I had received no notification for two years and had been left in a difficult situation. However, they said they were not obliged to inform me and insisted that I must pay, then ended the call. Because of this debt, I was unable to get a loan and suffered serious hardship. My expectation from Turkcell is that I will pay the principal amount immediately, but I request the cancellation of the interest, costs, and additional fees incurred during this process. I kindly ask for this matter to be resolved and for a detailed explanation to be provided to me.

I paid the debt for my Turkcell line with the number 0539 *** ** 47 via internet banking on 12.12.2025. Despite my payment, my file still appears to be open and I am having serious difficulty finding a contact person to resolve this issue.

I am trying to reach both Turkcell and the law office where the file appears, but I am not getting a proper response. As a customer who has paid their debt, it is very disturbing for me that my file still appears open and that I cannot properly reach anyone. I have the payment receipt and can present it if requested.

I request that my debt record be urgently checked and my file closed immediately, that the payment information be updated in the relevant enforcement/follow-up, and that all necessary corrections be made in your systems so that no debt or follow-up appears.
