I Lost 9014 USDT and Shared Personal Data Due to Trust Wallet Security Failure
On 18.08.2025, I attempted to transfer 7056 USDT from my Trust Wallet to my Binance account. However, the transfer failed, and I received a notice that the transaction was flagged as suspicious and my balance was blocked. Shortly after, I began receiving calls from individuals using Swiss phone numbers, claiming to be Trust Wallet representatives. They told me that to lift the block, I needed to deposit an additional 1958 USDT, which I did. Despite this, the transfer was never completed.
Later, I was pressured into sharing IBAN, ID, and address details, and even received calls from someone claiming to be a financial advisor, who demanded further payments. Over the course of this ordeal, I lost a total of 9014 USDT, with no receipts, confirmations, or traceable documents ever provided.
When I contacted the official Trust Wallet support email, I was redirected to another address that offered no real help. Meanwhile, all of my personal information and sensitive documents are now in the hands of these individuals.
I strongly believe this represents a serious security vulnerability, as these scammers operated under the name of Trust Wallet and targeted me directly. I demand a full investigation, the immediate refund of my 9014 USDT, and strict measures to ensure the protection of my personal data. Trust Wallet must take full responsibility for this incident and restore customer trust by resolving my case without delay.
