TopPDF Charged Me €49.90 for a Subscription I Never Approved
I am filing this complaint against TopPDF because they charged me for a subscription that I never knowingly accepted. I initially used their service from my computer only to convert a document, a service that cost a small fee per conversion, and I was charged twice for that, which I accepted. However, afterwards I discovered on my bank account a charge of 49.90 for a subscription that I did not authorize and that I was not clearly informed about when making the payment with my bank card. When I contacted TopPDF, they told me that they had already processed the refund of the 49.90 amount, but despite this, yesterday I again saw a charge of 0.09 on my account. I cancelled the subscription immediately when I realized what they had done, yet they continue to make charges to my card, which makes me completely distrust their way of working. With this complaint, I want to leave on record that I consider this practice abusive and misleading, and I demand the full refund of everything charged, including the 49.90 subscription and the 0.09, and that they definitively stop any charge to my card related to TopPDF. I request that this situation be reviewed and that measures be taken so that other users are not affected in the same way.
