I Was Charged Twice for My UK Visa Application by TLScontact
I applied for a UK visa through TLScontact and had a terrible experience at the application center. I initially submitted an application but canceled it due to missing information, and the refund for that application was processed without issue. However, when I submitted a new application, uploaded my documents, and went to the center, they still had my canceled application marked as active in their system.
They told me my documents weren’t uploaded, even though I had done everything correctly for the new application. The staff member was unhelpful and rude. I ended up paying an additional ₺3800 to upload the documents again. Later, I realized the mistake and returned to explain, but they told me it was too late and the application couldn’t be fixed. Someone eventually called me back, saying they would cancel the application and process it correctly. When I returned, they informed me that I had missed the application time and needed to pay another ₺2600 to proceed.
I am requesting a refund of the ₺5400 I was charged due to their system error. The service quality was terrible, and their system clearly has flaws if a canceled application can still be processed. I hope the consulate is aware of these issues with TLScontact.
