Since around September 20, 2025, I’ve been experiencing a serious issue with the Direct Message (DM) feature on my TikTok account. The messages sent to me never appear — while the other person can see my messages, I cannot see theirs at all. Occasionally, I receive a notification outside the app, but when I tap it, the messages fail to load.
This issue occurs on my iPhone 13, and it affects all contacts, not just specific users. My app is fully updated, and I haven’t changed any settings. The problem started on its own. I have contacted TikTok customer service multiple times, and although tickets were opened, I only received automated responses such as “We are investigating,” after which my requests were closed without resolution.
I’ve provided screen recordings and screenshots showing that others can send me messages that don’t appear on my end. I strongly believe this is a software-related issue.
I request that TikTok urgently fix this bug, release the necessary update or patch, and restore my ability to send and receive DMs normally again.
