TikTok Account Recovery – Can't Receive Verification Code on Old Phone Number

I am writing because I can no longer access my TikTok account and need help updating my phone number so I can receive verification codes and log in again. I am in Nigeria and was previously using TikTok on an Android phone, an Infinix 8, and now I am using an Infinix 20. The account username is “Alhaji musa”. The account was linked to my Nigerian phone number 09070847***. I did not know that this SIM card would later be given to someone else, and I have effectively lost this number. Because of this, I cannot receive any SMS verification codes TikTok sends to that number. I also have my Gmail linked to the TikTok account. However, when I try to log in using my Gmail, TikTok still sends a code both to my Gmail and to the old lost phone number, which I no longer control. Since I do not have access to that number anymore, I am stuck and cannot complete the login process. This situation has been going on for about three months. I kindly request that you help me regain access to my TikTok account “Alhaji musa” by updating or removing the old phone number and allowing me to use my current phone number which I have been using for the past nine years. Once the number is updated, I will be able to receive verification codes securely and log in again.
