Tesla Model Y Design Flaw Causes Items to Fall Inside Console

There is a gap of about 0.12–0.16 inches (3–4 mm) in the center section of my Tesla Model Y Juniper, between the sliding storage compartment and the phone charging area. This gap is entirely due to the vehicle’s design. My vehicle identification card fell through this opening, and because the sliding cover cannot fully open, it is impossible to retrieve the card.
Despite the fact that this is not user error and is clearly caused by a design flaw left by Tesla, I was asked to pay $90 through the app to resolve this issue, which is unacceptable. Trying to charge the customer for a clear design defect does not align with customer satisfaction or brand reputation.
I request that my issue caused by this design flaw be fully resolved, that my vehicle card be made accessible, and that all related work be carried out free of charge. Tesla should take responsibility for this issue instead of passing the cost onto the customer.
