TalkRand won’t connect me—how can I start a video chat?

To start a TalkRand video chat, open TalkRand in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge and press Start; no account or download is required.

Allow camera and microphone permissions when your browser asks, and TalkRand should match you with someone who is online.

If it won’t connect, check that your browser has permission to use the camera and microphone, close other apps using the camera, reload TalkRand, and make sure your internet connection is stable.

You can also start with text chat if the camera is unavailable, then try video again; TalkRand is intended for users 18 and over.
