If the keys on your SteelSeries Apex Pro keyboard aren't lighting up right, check the settings for lighting.
To change the brightness, press the SteelSeries key and F11 or F12. For Mini models, press the SteelSeries key and C or V. Make sure that the lights haven't been turned off or lowered by accident.
The next step is to update both the SteelSeries Engine program and the firmware on your keyboard.
Get the latest SteelSeries GG software from the website, plug in your keyboard, and then follow the on-screen instructions to install it. Lighting problems can be caused by software that is too old, but changing it might fix them.
Do a factory restart if the problems don't go away. Pull the keyboard out of the wall and hold down the OLED Menu button and the Scrollwheel.
While holding these, plug the keyboard back in and keep holding them until the keyboard flashes, which means the reset worked. This can fix bugs in the software that are messing up the lights.
Do you have another way to solve it? We'd love to hear from you in the comments.
