Steam Community Market Blocks Newly Added Balance
I just added funds to my Steam account for the first time, and when I tried to use the Steam Community Market afterward, I found that I was unable to use my balance. A red warning message appears on the screen stating that I will not be able to make transactions until September 16, 2026, meaning I cannot use the balance I just added for a week.
From what I have researched, this waiting period is reportedly a system-enforced rule that cannot be removed. I understand the security reasoning behind it, but being unable to use my funds for such a long period makes me feel completely restricted. In particular, having such a strict limitation on new accounts and accounts with small balance deposits seems unnecessary and unfair to users who simply want to use their own funds.
I would like Steam to review this waiting-period policy, shorten the restriction period, and consider a more flexible system for deposits below certain amounts or for accounts that meet specific requirements. My goal is simply for Steam to recognize the inconvenience caused by this policy and improve it in a more user-friendly way. My Steam profile name is atidobronxx (or dobronxxf1).
