It's possible for your phone's CPU, GPU, and screen to work at full speed when you stream Sflix, which quickly makes it hot. Taking off any thick cases and turning down the lighting help the device get rid of heat more quickly.

Turn off high update rates, close background apps, and don't charge while watching because they put extra strain on the screen. It also lowers processing needs and heat buildup when you use Wi-Fi instead of mobile internet.

Keep the phone out of direct sunlight and hot places, since high temperatures make overheating worse. When you turn on energy saver or power-saving mode, the phone runs a little slower but stays cooler.

If the device still gets too hot and shuts down or plays music more slowly, stop streaming and give it 10 minutes to cool down. Overheating that doesn't go away could mean that parts are getting old, so if the problem keeps happening, you might want to get it serviced.
