Unresolved Issues with Seat Arona
I am sharing my frustrating experience with the Seat Arona purchased under the guarantee of Dogus Group and Sahintas. The reliability of the brand is now seriously in question. However, the company has not taken any steps to address the issues surrounding its product. The car was purchased from a reputable dealer with 0 kilometers. After a mere 300-kilometer drive, its fuel consumption proved to be much higher than expected, averaging 11-12 liters per 100 km instead of the promised 6-7 liters. Even maintaining a maximum speed of 110 km/h, the fuel efficiency was off. A minor gravel impact led to a cracked windshield, and a strange smell from the car prompted us to seek assistance. The service center advised us to continue driving despite our concerns. Upon contacting Doğuş Group due to the continuous issues, we faced delays in service response. The incident escalated as the car broke down in an unfamiliar area. The service process, along with an unsatisfactory experience with the consultant, added to the ordeal. We chose this brand for reliability, yet the lack of support is astounding. Despite these setbacks, we managed to find the missing parts ourselves. The dealings with the representatives of Dogus Group only worsened the situation, leaving us without proper guidance or solutions. Our ordeal, including the faulty parts and lack of support, makes us question the purpose of a new car's warranty. Why should a perfectly functioning component like the steering wheel be replaced? We were told that any initial odor in the car would dissipate after 30-40 km, but even after an 800-km drive, the smell persisted. The inconsistency between fuel consumption on the outward and return journey was noticeable as well. This clearly indicates that the vehicle we received was faulty from the factory. We trusted an established brand without seeking expert opinion, but are we the ones to blame? I share this experience to highlight the need for resolution and transparency to avoid any breach of trust.
