Six Proton VPN Unauthorized Credit Card Charges – Refund Request
I recently noticed a series of unknown charges on my credit card from Proton and I would like this situation investigated and resolved. On March 2, 2026, I saw that there were six separate transactions, each for $12.99, that I do not recognize and did not knowingly authorize. After noticing these charges, I contacted my bank/card issuer and explained that I had not made or approved these payments. They informed me that I should contact Proton directly regarding these transactions, so I am now reaching out through this complaint. I request that Proton urgently review these six $12.99 charges, explain why they were made, and confirm whether there is any account or subscription in my name or linked to my card. If these payments are unauthorized, I ask that they be fully refunded and that any related subscriptions or services be cancelled so that no further charges are made to my card.
