I purchased a one-week subscription from the Pdfguru app, as I only intended to use the service for a short period. I did not give any consent or approval for automatic renewal or continuation of the subscription beyond this initial period.
Despite this, on April 12, 2026, an amount of approximately $67 was charged to my Yapı Kredi Worldcard without my knowledge or authorization. The transaction receipt shows the order number 18667166045.
After noticing this unauthorized charge, I contacted Pdfguru customer support. During our conversation, they confirmed that my subscription had been canceled, but they refused to refund the $67 that had already been charged to my card.
I find it completely unacceptable that such a high amount was automatically charged without my consent after a one-week subscription, and that my refund request was denied.
I request that the unauthorized charge of approximately $67 be fully refunded to my card immediately. I also demand confirmation that there are no hidden or automatic subscription renewals remaining active on my account to prevent any further unauthorized charges.
