Payoneer Annual Account Fee Charged On Inactive Account – Request Refund

July 17 12:41 PM

Today, 17 July 2026, I noticed that Payoneer charged an “Annual account fee” of 25 EUR, which debited my entire wallet balance. In my transaction history, this appears as a completed transaction for -25.00 EUR. I have not used my Payoneer account for any transactions since 2024, not even once, so I do not find it reasonable that an annual fee is being charged on an inactive account. I do not agree with this annual fee being taken from my account and I am requesting a full refund of the 25 EUR that was deducted. Right after noticing the charge, I tried to contact Payoneer support via live chat, but my chat was canceled and I could not get any information. I then submitted an inquiry through the support system and I am currently waiting for a response. I kindly ask Payoneer to review this situation, refund the 25 EUR annual fee to my account as soon as possible, and clarify under which conditions this fee is charged, especially for inactive accounts, so that I can avoid such surprises in the future.

Update on the issue: I contacted Payoneer support regarding this fee, but they sent a generic, automated email stating that the annual fee is 'non-refundable'. It is unreasonable that a financial platform automatically deducts money from an account that has been inactive for 2 years right after a deposit is made, without any advanced warning or clear notification. I do not accept this response and request a full refund of my 25 EUR.
