OkCupid Premium Login Blocked by “General Verification Error” on iOS 17
Today, I purchased a Premium membership on the OkCupid app. About an hour after completing the purchase, I began receiving a recurring error message that says “general verification error.” Because of this, I am completely unable to log into the app. Each time I try, I only see a “try again” button, with no real solution offered.
I have since learned that I am not the only one experiencing this issue—many other users are facing the same error. I am using the app on iOS 17, and despite repeated attempts, I could not reach OkCupid customer support for assistance.
I expect OkCupid to address this technical failure immediately and restore access to Premium users who are locked out. Paying customers should not be left without service right after making a purchase.
