I Paid for OkCupid Super Likes but They Don’t Work and Messages Are Delayed
I’m completely disappointed with how OkCupid is handling paid features—especially the Super Likes. I paid real money expecting these premium tools to work properly, but they clearly don’t. The app randomly uses up my Super Likes without my approval, which makes no sense. If I’m paying for this feature, I should have full control over how and when I use it—not have it wasted without my input.
On top of that, there are constant issues with the messaging system. Messages that I receive don’t appear instantly, and the ones I send also take forever to go through or don't show as delivered. It completely ruins the flow of communication and defeats the purpose of using a dating app in real time.
It seems like every small function now comes with a separate charge, yet the basic app performance is unstable and full of bugs. I’m not getting what I paid for, and it feels like I’m being taken advantage of. I’m asking OkCupid to fix these technical problems immediately and ensure that paying users like me receive the functionality we are promised. Otherwise, this app is not worth the money.
