Novartis Azarga Eye Drops Have Been Unavailable for Five Month

My mother has undergone surgery on both of her eyes and is required to use Azarga eye drops regularly as part of her doctor's treatment plan. However, for approximately five months, we have been unable to find Azarga eye drops at any pharmacy in Batman. We visited pharmacies throughout Batman one by one, and I also called pharmacies in Diyarbakır. Only one pharmacy reported having six boxes in stock.

All of the pharmacies we contacted stated that the medication was not available in their suppliers' warehouses and that they were not receiving new stock. Azarga is extremely important for my mother's treatment, and the alternative medications offered to her do not have the same effect. As a result, we are sometimes forced to interrupt her treatment. This situation poses a serious risk to my mother's health and is causing significant hardship for our family.

I request that Novartis take the necessary steps to reorganize the production and distribution of Azarga eye drops and make the medication available on the market again. If this supply problem is not resolved, I would like to state that I will have no choice but to report the matter to the Ministry of Health as well.
