MoneyGram Deducted $30 and Froze My Transfer to Mexico

On December 10, 2025, we sent $330 from Turkey to Mexico via MoneyGram. For this transfer, with reference number 85162538, the money was automatically blocked on the Mexico side, and no proper explanation was provided. In addition, approximately $30 was deducted from the transfer, and no information was given about why this deduction was made.

I contacted a customer service representative in Turkey regarding this issue, but I encountered an uninformed and extremely rude attitude. Not only were we unable to get clear information about the problem, but we were also given no explanation as to why the transfer was blocked or when it might be resolved.

I do not accept that our money transfer was blocked without any justification, nor do I accept that $30 was deducted without explanation. I am requesting that the block on my transfer be lifted, or that the transfer be canceled and the full amount refunded to me, and that the unjustly deducted $30 be clearly explained and reimbursed.
