On January 23, 2026, a one-time charge of $56 was made without my knowledge or consent to my Garanti Bank debit card ending in 0889, listed under “msbill.info / Microsoft Store.” The transaction details show the location as Antalya, Turkey. During this charge, no password, SMS verification, or 3D Secure authentication was requested. The transaction was completed entirely without my authorization.
I received no notification email or message from Microsoft regarding this charge. I also do not actively use a Microsoft account, and I am not even certain whether I currently have one. For this reason, I want to clearly state that this purchase was not made by me and was never approved by me.
As soon as the transaction was noticed, my bank blocked the card for security reasons and issued a new replacement card. When I contacted my bank, a formal dispute was filed through mobile banking for this transaction. Despite these steps, I am experiencing serious financial inconvenience, as this $56 charge was made entirely without my consent.
I request that Microsoft urgently and thoroughly investigate this unauthorized transaction, that the full $56 be refunded to me, and that the account, IP address, and security logs related to this charge be reviewed. I ask that this matter be examined immediately, that I receive a written explanation, and that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
