Microsoft Refund Request for Unauthorized Credit Card Charge
On January 19, 2026, I noticed that $118 was charged to my credit card under the name Microsoft Store without my knowledge or approval. Even though I did not purchase any product, subscription, or service, this amount was deducted from my card.
As soon as I discovered the charge, I contacted my bank, canceled my card, and was informed that I needed to visit a branch to file a formal dispute. I received no notification from Microsoft regarding this transaction, and it is unclear what this charge was for.
I demand that the $118 taken from my card without my authorization be refunded as soon as possible and that I be clearly informed of the reason for this transaction.
