On January 15, 2026, a charge of $118 was made to my VakıfBank credit card ending in 2332 under the name Microsoft Store with the description “msbill.info,” without my knowledge or consent. The transaction was processed in Hatay, and I did not receive any notification email or message from Microsoft regarding this charge. I do not actively use a Microsoft account, and I am not even sure whether I currently have one.
Even though money was withdrawn from my credit card, there is no corresponding game or product purchase visible in my Microsoft Store account. For this reason, I want to clearly state that this charge was made entirely without my knowledge or approval.
For security reasons, my bank has canceled the affected credit card and issued me a new one. When I contacted my bank, I was informed that I must visit a VakıfBank branch and submit a written dispute to formally challenge the transaction.
I request that Microsoft urgently and thoroughly investigate this unauthorized charge, refund the full $118 to me, and review the account and security records related to this transaction. I ask that the matter be investigated promptly, that I be informed in writing, and that the financial harm I have experienced be resolved as soon as possible.
