Microsoft 365 Billing Dispute After Free Trial
I downloaded Office 365 on a trial basis through my Microsoft account. However, due to a version incompatibility with my MacBook (macOS Ventura 13.3), I was never able to run the program. Since I could not use the product during the trial period, I did not benefit from it at all.
Despite this, on January 23, 2026, $93 was charged to my credit card as a one-year subscription fee without my knowledge or consent. When I log into my Microsoft account, I can see the related order (Order No: 73712310-0224-4f85-a559-d22b06c297a5), but I am not given any option to cancel or request a refund. The system does not allow me to submit any notification or request.
I do not find it fair to be charged for a full year for a product that I could not use and that did not even work during the trial period. I demand that the subscription opened under my Microsoft account associated with a**********@hotmail.com be canceled immediately and that the full $93 charged to my credit card be refunded to me.
