Most ManyChat–Instagram issues come from permissions, account setup, or Meta restrictions, so start by checking the basics before changing anything else.
Your Instagram must be a Business or Creator account, and you must allow message access under “Connected tools,” otherwise the integration simply won’t work.
A very common fix is to reset permissions and reconnect everything cleanly. Log out of Facebook/Instagram, clear cache, then reconnect in ManyChat and use “Refresh permissions,” making sure all Facebook Business Integration permissions are enabled.
If messages stopped sending or automations broke, it’s often due to API or setup changes, so reconnecting Instagram and rebuilding the integration (or project) usually restores it.
Also check platform limitations, since Instagram only allows automated replies within 24 hours of user interaction, which can look like a bug when flows stop working.
