LG D1452WF Dishwasher Baskets Have Disintegrated Beyond Repair
Nine years ago, I carefully selected and purchased the LG D1452WF dishwasher, investing a substantial amount of ₺ at the time. The machine itself remains in good condition, but the baskets have disintegrated beyond repair. Seeking to replace them, I encountered a frustrating situation. The sole service in Turkey offering the upper basket quoted an exorbitant ₺2,700 for a single basket. To make matters worse, they informed me that the lower basket must be imported from Korea, requiring a staggering ₺3,500 payment and a two-month waiting period. In a market where dishwashers are available in the ₺7,000-₺10,000 range, being asked to shell out ₺6,200 solely for a basket feels like a blatant money grab, especially when the product is not readily available. It is high time for LG to intervene and address this unreasonable situation.
We resolved the issue by purchasing a different dishwasher rack from a second-hand site. There was no contact from LG. Nor was there any positive development. We solved it ourselves.
