I Regret Buying the LG 86QNED916PA TV—Terrible Sound, No Real Support
On June 16, 2025, I bought the LG 86QNED916PA 218 cm QNED TV from Teknosa Forum. The LG representative at the store, Z****, strongly recommended this model, praising it as a high-end product with excellent performance. Trusting their word, I purchased it. The TV was delivered the next day, and installation was done the day after. Since I was at work, I couldn’t be home for the setup.
When I got home and checked the TV, I immediately noticed the sound was off—unclear and muffled. I tried adjusting every setting, but nothing helped. The next morning, I called customer service. The technician who came couldn’t fix it, took videos, made calls, and said the TV needed to be taken in. But due to the size, they couldn’t carry it. Another team came the following day, struggled again, even tried disassembling the back panel inside my house—which made me very uncomfortable. Still, they couldn’t fix the issue.
Eventually, the TV was picked up. But when I followed up with LG, they claimed the TV had “no issue” and that it was collected simply because I requested it. That’s not true. Two different teams came on back-to-back days—why would they send technicians twice if nothing was wrong?
No one gave me documentation confirming they took the TV upon my request. No forms, no explanation. The sound quality is clearly flawed—how can a premium TV have such weak audio? I’m not getting the performance I was promised, and LG hasn’t taken responsibility.
LG, this experience has been unacceptable. I want a proper explanation, an official service report, and a resolution. Either fix the audio problem or replace the unit. I paid over ₺ for a flagship TV and I expect it to work as advertised.
