Defective Installation And Damage By LG Authorized Service
I purchased two LG Dualcool Plus PC24SQ 24,000 BTU inverter air conditioners and had them installed by LG authorized technical service at my address in Susuz Village, Bucak District, Burdur Province, with an appointment scheduled for June 17, 2026. Although I was given a time slot between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM, the team did not arrive until around 7:30 PM, which caused the installation to be carried out in the dark. During the installation of the lower-floor air conditioner, no additional refrigerant gas was charged, even though the distance between the indoor and outdoor units exceeded the standard 4-meter limit by approximately 2 to 3 meters. On the upper floor, after vacuuming was completed and the gas valve was opened for the outdoor unit, a refrigerant leak occurred because the joint connection had not been properly secured. Despite this leak, the connection was still not adequately completed or corrected. Because the installation extended into late hours, while the technician was working on the outdoor unit, his assistant damaged and broke the wall during the installation of the indoor unit. They initially promised to repair the damaged wall with plaster, but then claimed they had run out of plaster and would come back later, and left the wall broken and unfinished. When I operated the air conditioners after the installation, I noticed on June 20, 2026, that they were running inefficiently, which I believe is due to the incomplete gas and connection procedures and the faulty workmanship. Although the installation was stated to be free of charge, the workmanship provided is, in my opinion, highly problematic, substandard, and careless both technically and aesthetically. I request that another authorized LG technical service be directed to my address to completely reinstall both air conditioners in accordance with proper standards, perform thorough gas and connection checks, resolve all efficiency and performance issues, and repair the damage caused to my wall.
