I ordered 2 pots and 2 pans from Lava via Amazon, expecting high quality for the price I paid. But when the items arrived, I was extremely disappointed to find small rust spots and residue along the edges of all of them. It was like receiving used or defective cookware.
I contacted Lava’s support team, and their response was completely dismissive. They said the marks were from “production apparatus” and didn’t affect usability. That’s not an acceptable explanation for brand-new items I paid full price for. Just because it’s “usable” doesn’t mean I should settle for cookware that looks damaged out of the box.
To make matters worse, after I followed up, my messages stopped going through. It seems like they blocked me. I’ve never felt more disappointed in a brand I once admired. I will never buy another Lava product again, and I strongly do not recommend them to anyone.
