Kiwi.com Failed to Confirm Reservation, Ticket Price Later Increased
On December 24, 2025, at 1:45 PM, I purchased a ticket for the Dortmund–Sabiha Gökçen flight through Kiwi.com, paying $240 by credit card. About six hours after the transaction, I received a message stating “Reservation not confirmed” for my ticket with reservation number 714 895 038, and I was informed that only a refund would be issued. No further explanation or alternative solution was provided.
When I later checked the same flight again, I saw that the ticket price had increased to $437. While the flight cost was around $240 at the time of my purchase, I am now faced with a price that is approximately $207 higher. Although my refund was processed, because my reservation was not confirmed in this manner, I was forced to purchase the same flight at a much higher price.
Taking into account this hardship caused by Kiwi.com’s system or process failure, I request that the original price I paid be honored, or that the price difference of approximately $207 be compensated.
