IVECO Daily 35C16 Has Ongoing Battery Drain and Safety System Failures

We have been experiencing serious and unresolved technical problems for a long time with our IVECO Daily 35C16 vehicle bearing license plate 38 **R 085 and chassis number ZCFCE35BX0D791231.

The most critical issue, which has continued since the very first day we purchased the vehicle, is that whenever the vehicle remains parked for one or two days, the battery completely drains and the vehicle becomes impossible to start. Because of this recurring problem, we have taken the vehicle multiple times to the authorized Kayseri Gülsoylar IVECO Service Center.

During the service process, the battery was replaced twice, software updates were performed, and we were informed that communication had even been established with IVECO in Italy regarding the issue. However, despite all these interventions, the battery drainage and failure-to-start problem continues exactly the same way.

In addition to this issue, the vehicle’s collision prevention system and traffic sign recognition system are also not functioning. These systems are critically important for driving safety, and their failure creates a serious safety risk both for us and for other drivers on the road.

Because of these ongoing problems, which have continued for approximately five months, we are unable to use our vehicle reliably. We constantly face the risk that the vehicle may not start at any moment, and the disabled safety systems are causing severe operational, financial, and emotional difficulties.

Since this vehicle is actively used in our commercial operations, these unresolved defects are also negatively affecting our company, Kar Tavukçuluk Hayvancılık Gıda Turizm Taşıma Sanayi Ticaret Limited Şirketi, both financially and operationally.

For all these reasons, we demand that the root cause of the electrical leakage and battery drain problem be identified and permanently resolved. We also request that the vehicle undergo a comprehensive technical inspection and that all safety systems, including the collision prevention and traffic sign recognition systems, be fully repaired and restored to proper working condition.

If necessary, we also request a vehicle replacement so that our damages and ongoing losses can be completely remedied. We expect IVECO Türkiye to address these issues urgently and provide us with a clear written action and resolution plan. Otherwise, we reserve the right to pursue all available legal remedies.

I am experiencing serious technical problems with my IVECO Daily 35c16, such as battery drain and failure to start, as well as the collision avoidance and traffic sign recognition systems being disabled. These issues have been ongoing for 5 months, and I have received no response from the authorized service center or IVECO Turkey, which is negatively affecting my business both financially and emotionally. My hardship continues with no progress.
