Maximiles Annual Fee Refused And Long-Term Customer Not Valued

For approximately 21 years, I have been an İş Bankası Maximiles credit card customer and I have regularly used my card mainly for supermarket shopping, online purchases and HGS payments. My annual spending volume with this card is around ₺1,000,000. On 20 November 2025, I saw that an annual card fee of ₺980 was reflected on my statement. When I called customer service to request a refund of this fee, I was told that instead of a refund I could pay it with my Maximiles points or I had to spend ₺150,000. As a long-term customer who uses the card regularly and at high volumes, I do not find it fair or appropriate for customer satisfaction that the refund of the annual fee is tied to such conditions. On top of that, you charged me this fee and I cancelled my card on 30 November 2025. For more than 15 years, my HGS card has been linked to İş Bankası, and throughout this entire process you have caused difficulties and victimisation instead of providing support. As a long-standing customer who has used the card intensively for many years, I request that the ₺980 annual card fee reflected on my statement be refunded unconditionally.
