Instagram Locked Me Out of My Hacked Account for a Year Despite My Efforts
Hello, my old Instagram account was hacked back in September 2023. After gaining access, the hacker started following random accounts, and although I was able to access the account for a while, I have now been completely locked out for a year. The account appears inactive, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot regain access. I have attempted to reset the password, but I do not receive the email to do so. I have also reported the account and contacted Instagram support multiple times, but nothing has worked. The account still has my personal information, such as my phone number and email, but the hacker enabled two-factor authentication, making it impossible for me to access it. After dealing with this issue for a year, I am extremely frustrated and simply want my old account to be deleted.
