Instagram Account Hacked and Email Changed Without My Access or Control
On February 8, 2025, my Instagram account was hacked, and my email address was changed. Various status updates were shared from the account, and I was unable to log in at all. I tried every option, including "Forgot password" and "Don't have access anymore," but none worked. I sent an email to Instagram support but have not received any response. Meanwhile, messages saying, "Click here to prevent your account from being closed within 24 hours," were sent to the contacts in my address book. The account is still active, and I urgently request that it be closed. As of 5:00 AM on February 8, 2025, I hold no responsibility for any activity related to my account. I kindly ask Instagram support to assist me with this matter.
