Huawei M Pencil Pro Battery Drains Fast And Has Hardware Defect
As someone who has used the Apple ecosystem for years, I purchased a Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 and an M-Pencil Pro on December 5, 2025, with great excitement. However, after only 3 months, I am experiencing serious regret due to issues with the M-Pencil Pro.
There is a very clear hardware defect in the stylus, which is still under warranty. I believe the pen has an electrical leakage issue and a phantom connection loop. Even when not in use, the battery drains completely within 1–2 hours, and even when the tablet is turned off, the pen’s indicator light stays on continuously.
As an educator, the tablet and stylus are essential tools for my daily work and productivity. Despite this serious hardware issue, when I contacted Huawei customer support, I was told that the process could take weeks. While the competitor brand I used for years would resolve even minor issues on the same day, being told to wait weeks for a 3-month-old product is both disappointing and a serious inconvenience.
Especially since this directly impacts my work, I expect a fast and customer-focused solution that does not leave me without a stylus for weeks.
I request that Huawei prioritize this issue and provide a direct replacement for my defective M-Pencil Pro under warranty, or at the very least offer a very fast resolution process.
I would like to thank the Huawei support team for their dedicated service in quickly and smoothly replacing my M-Pencil Pro with a brand new one. This solution allowed my educational work to continue without interruption.
