If Happn shows you photos of people you've never met, it's probably because the app is designed to help you find more matches.

Once you've interacted with nearby profiles, Happn will slowly introduce you to users within 120 km (75 mi) to make your experience better, especially in places where there aren't many busy users.

Make sure your location choices are correct and turned on so that your matches are more relevant.

In your account settings, go to "My Preferences" to change the age range and gender you want to see.

Remember that these choices work both ways; only users who meet your criteria will see you and you will only see them.
