On January 22, 2024, I visited the Teknosa store at Forum İstanbul to purchase a toaster. While browsing, I approached a representative, who I later learned was a Grundig brand promoter named Ms. T****, to ask a question about a coffee machine. She responded that she was handling it. Later, when I had another question about a kettle, I noticed the same representative chatting casually with other staff members instead of assisting customers. When I asked her again, she rudely replied, "You ask me everything," implying annoyance. I explained that I couldn’t find anyone else to help me, to which she responded disrespectfully, "Are you trying to make a point?"
I was shocked by this unprofessional behavior. I reported the incident to a supervisor but couldn’t find anyone in charge at the store. Frustrated, I decided not to purchase the Grundig toaster and opted for a different brand instead. At the checkout, I told her I would file a complaint, but she continued to argue with me. Her behavior was completely unacceptable—she spoke with street-level language, hands in her pockets, and a disrespectful tone. This incident is unacceptable for a store like Teknosa, which I had trusted.
This experience has left me with a strong negative impression of both Teknosa and Grundig. I will never shop at Teknosa again and will never choose Grundig products. Customers should be treated with respect, and staff like this representative should undergo proper training. I request an investigation into this incident via security camera footage and expect a response. My spouse and I are both extremely dissatisfied with this experience.
