Geox Boots Caused Severe Foot Pain and Blisters After Only 2 Wears
In March 2025, I purchased a pair of size 39 Geox boots from the Derimod store at Capacity. Since I purchased them at the end of the season, I never wore them and kept them in my closet. Last week, I took them out for the first time, and despite wearing them only twice, they seriously injured my feet. The leather of the boots is extremely stiff, causing painful blisters and sores on my heels. My toes also became red, and the pain was severe enough to make walking difficult.
When I purchased the boots, I was told that they would soften after being worn a few times. However, my experience has clearly shown that this is not the case. I contacted Derimod's customer relations department about the issue and was told to have the boots placed on a heated shoe stretcher. I was also informed that the warranty period was only six months. Nevertheless, I submitted a complaint through the support line along with photographs of the damage to my feet, but my request was rejected.
I purchased the boots at the end of the winter season and could not wear them because of the timing. When I finally had the opportunity to wear them, they caused this level of injury and discomfort. This is clearly a problem with the product sold by the company. Refusing to stand behind the product simply because nine months have passed shows a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. If you sell a product that causes this much discomfort and is so stiff that it injures the customer's feet, I believe you should stand behind that product and provide an appropriate solution.
I request that the inconvenience I have experienced be resolved immediately and that I be offered a refund or, at minimum, a solution that actually addresses the problem with these boots. If I cannot reach a satisfactory resolution through this channel, I would like to make it clear that I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee.
