GearUP Booster increased my ping instead of lowering it, how can I fix this issue?

If GearUP Booster increased your ping, it’s likely because the selected routing server is suboptimal, so switch to a different server or disable “auto-route” and manually choose the lowest-latency node for your game region.

Also test your connection without GearUP enabled, because sometimes your default ISP route is already optimal and the booster adds unnecessary hops that increase latency.

Check for background apps, VPN conflicts, or unstable Wi-Fi, since boosters cannot fix local network issues and may worsen performance if your base connection is inconsistent.

If the issue persists, reinstall GearUP or update it to the latest version.
