I Lost Money Due to Excessive Fees on Gate.io Despite Making a Profit

I recently made a trade on Gate.io and earned a profit of approximately $198. However, instead of being able to enjoy my gains, the platform charged me an outrageous $220 in commissions, leaving me not only without profit but actually at a loss from my initial investment. This has happened more than once, and it’s incredibly frustrating. Even if I hadn’t traded at all, I would’ve been financially better off.

I use many exchanges, but none of them apply such excessive and unclear fees. I feel taken advantage of, and Gate.io seems to be profiting more from commissions than users do from their actual trades.

I’m formally requesting a refund of the unjust fee charged to my account. If Gate.io continues to operate like this—with zero transparency and no user protection—I will no longer use this platform and will advise others to do the same.
