I have been unable to log into my Gate.io account for approximately three years. Two-factor authentication using Google Authenticator is enabled on my account, and during login I am asked to enter a code generated by this app. However, I no longer have access to my Authenticator account, so I cannot generate the required code and therefore cannot log in.
Even though I still have access to the email address and phone number registered on my account, I am unable to complete verification through these channels either. As a result, I cannot see how much balance is in my account or access my assets.
This issue first began about three years ago after I experienced a problem with the Authenticator app. The codes generated by the app started appearing incorrect, and from that moment on I have not been able to log into my account again. When I try to reset my password, I am once again asked for the Authenticator code, which prevents me from completing any action.
I contacted Gate.io support about this issue approximately three years ago, but I never received any response, and my problem remains unresolved. Being unable to access the assets in my account for such a long time has caused me serious hardship.
My request to Gate.io is that, after completing identity verification and any other required security checks, my account access be restored. If possible, I ask that the Google Authenticator–based two-factor authentication be removed or reset, and that this requirement no longer be requested during login.
