I have been a Gate.io member for a long time, but after my phone was factory-reset I can no longer sign back in. The moment I open the Gate.io mobile app it flashes “We don’t support your region,” even though I was logging in just yesterday from the exact same location. To regain access I need the SMS or e-mail verification code, yet the app simply refuses to send one—no text, no e-mail, nothing. I am stuck on the login screen watching my own assets sit beyond reach.
I have double-checked my phone number, confirmed my e-mail, and even tried reinstalling the application, all with zero success. The problem is clearly on Gate.io’s side, not mine. Locking customers out because of a mysterious regional block and then failing to provide the required 2FA code is unacceptable.
Gate.io, restore my account access immediately. Send the verification code, remove the erroneous region restriction, and ensure your app does not randomly lock paying users out in the future. My funds depend on it, and I expect a prompt, concrete solution—not vague apologies.
