Garanti BBVA Made Credit Card Debt Restructuring Impossible to Resolve
Garanti Bank's credit card debt restructuring customer service is a complete mess. My card is 7 days overdue, and I haven’t made a payment yet. I want to restructure my debt in line with the new law and the BDDK’s decision, but I can’t reach anyone to assist me. The customer representative gives a number, but it leads to a voice response system that just loops through automated messages and hangs up. I’ve never experienced anything like this with any other bank. People always spoke negatively about Garanti, and I used to defend it, saying, “No, it’s not that kind of bank,” but now I see they were absolutely right. It feels like they are deliberately avoiding communication, working with external law firms to rack up interest and push people into legal trouble. I will report my complaints to the appropriate authorities.
