FlyOne Demanded €240 Airport Check-In Fee for Family of Four Without Warning

When I wanted to check in at the airport for my Chisinau flight on July 3, I was asked to pay €60 per person, totaling €240 for 4 people, and I was forced to pay this fee. I received no information, email, or SMS notification—neither when purchasing my ticket nor afterward—indicating that a separate fee would be charged for the check-in process.

Furthermore, while calculating this fee, even though the Euro exchange rate was around 53 TRY that day, they calculated the rate at 60 TRY per Euro, forcing me to make a much higher payment than necessary. Although I brought this up to the FlyOne representatives on-site and objected, they offered no help and refused to process my check-in without payment. This situation resulted in financial harm due to both a lack of disclosure and an inflated exchange rate.

Because clear and transparent disclosures were not provided regarding the check-in fee and exchange rate applications, I demand a refund of the amount paid and that necessary adjustments be made to prevent similar grievances in the future.
