Fly One Charged Me an Unexpected €60 Airport Check-In Fee
I would like to report an issue regarding the check-in process and unfair charges I experienced with Fly One. I purchased my ticket (confirmation code G78NPJ) via Enuygun for my July 22 flight from Istanbul (IST) to Chisinau (RMO). Neither during nor after the ticket purchase process did I receive clear or prominent notification stating that I was required to complete an online check-in, nor did I encounter any designated section on Enuygun indicating that online check-in could or had to be performed.
Consequently, I proceeded to handle my check-in at the airport as usual. Upon arriving at the airport, however, an additional fee of €60 was demanded and collected from me on the grounds that I had not completed online check-in within the specified timeframe (12 hours prior to flight departure). Because I was not informed of this policy beforehand, and no clear, visible disclosure was provided during the purchasing phase, I consider this fee completely unjust. If an amount nearly equivalent to the ticket price is to be charged for failing to perform online check-in, this requirement should be stated clearly, conspicuously, and understandably at the point of purchase.
I demand an investigation into this grievance, a full refund of the €60 additional fee collected from me at the airport, and that necessary adjustments be made to the notification procedures so that other passengers do not face similar situations.
